Youth & Family Services
Building the community’s social and economic infrastructure by helping families become self-reliant, healthy and successful.
The purpose of the Family Services department is to continue to build the community’s social and economic infrastructure by helping families become self-reliant, healthy and successful. Our program serves as the hub for social service support in the Cities of Opa-locka, Miami Gardens, and North Miami, (We services all of Miami-Dade County with a focus of North Miami-Dade County.) where we work in collaboration with a group of social service agencies comprised of over 40 service providers.
All Youth & Family services are available in English, Spanish and Creole.
Education Programs
Through education we are working to empower students and young adults to prepare them for college and a future in the workplace. Each of our programs combines education with social and life skills training to address underlying issues that may prevent participants from achieving success.
Health & Care Coordination Programs
This program serves as the hub that links families to needed community resources through care coordination and wraparound services.
We provide holistic health programming to the North Miami-Dade community in the form of referrals for free mental health services, free dental services for children, women's health workshops and a community urban garden.
